Industrial Robot Manipulators
The
example shown below is a VP-6242G 6-axis robot arm with 420 mm reach and 2.5 kg payload. A RC7 high-performance controller drives the robot that is programmed offline using Denso's new Wincaps3
software package on EIGHT dedicated workstations. All STUDENTS will get complete hands on experience to using ALL hardware in the
Laboratory.
Mechatronics Laboratory Workstations
The Mechatronics laboratory currently has four workstations, each with the following equipment:
Dell Workstation/Laptop (Dual Boot Windows XP / Red Hat Linux)
Oscilloscope (Tektronix TDS2024B)
Power Supplies (Tenma Dual Channel and High Power Single Channel)
